On site is an ancient 6,000 year old mineral water spring, one of the oldest and purest in the world. Tours are by appointment only and are subject to availability.
Take a floodlit walk around Hamilton to view historic buildings which all rightfully earnt the town it's title of National Trust Historic Town.
Beautiful examples of colonial era buildings such as St Peters, old ruins, and small sandstone cottages criss-cross the streets at every turn. Cottages such as Emma's, McCauley's, Edwards, George's and Victoria's were all constructed prior to 1850.
The Old School House was constructed in 1856 in the style of a Victorian doll's house using convict labour with the money for construction being raised by locals who wanted a public school.
